The Bow is one of the highest quality trout streams in North America. If you don't have a fly rod, toss some spinners or spoons in and reel back in downstream or across the current.

Every once in a while we float down the Bow River or hit up a few fishing holes around downtown. Im not going to tell you exactly where because fishing spots are sacred

However, I think tuesday (tomorrow) some of my friends and I are floating down the Bow River to Natures Hideaway on the highwood river to do some cliff jumping and probably fishing along the way.
If anyones off work you should join us. Everyone is welcome, especially the ladies ;)

Lake McGregor which is just south of calgary has some sweet pike and walleye fishing and is worth the drive... chestermere is decent for fishing as well but i wouldnt recommend eating anything from there. if you ever want to fish lake bonavista, drop me a pm and ill go with you.
