CD changer damaged ??

While installing some subs , I disconnected the CD changer wiring.When I connected them back up I thought the Live power wire was the ground wire and grounded it,which of course blew a fuse. Now when I play CD's , the left channels are a lot quieter than the right. When I listen to the radio the channels are equal volume.

Is it possible/probable I damaged the CD changer ??

I bought a new changer anyway. The original changer is almost 10 yrs old.

Well, I replaced the CD changer and the problem still exists.I guess I try the wiring harness that came with the new unit.
Maybe the old harness is damaged ??:dunno:

Found the problem. I replaced the old cable from the head unit to the changer with the new cable ,and the channels are now equal.
:)

I think I might have damaged the multi pin plug on the cable.:rolleyes:
