I just got a question that i need to no...

my friend just bought a 350z from nissan sunridge a few weeks ago and they ordered it from japan. The dealership told him the other day that it'll be rhd. Is it possible??

I know about the 15 year law of importing cars overseas but it's already in canada and would they most likely convert it over to lhd???

but is it cost effective?

just wanted to say that I though my post was gonna come right after Rage2's post, I didnt think they would be stupid enough to actually convert it from rhd to lhd

that car would'nt make it past the Docks Transport canada Checks every single car that is imported mew or old, to check that every part is in agreement with the laws of Canada there is now way that a New fresh out of the factory car would make it into canada with it having special "show only" exemptions

That sales guy is confused and thinks RHD means a car built to drive on the right side of the road.

Buddy, I work for Sunridge Nissan and I garranty that it's BS. BTW please pm me the salesman's name!!!
They might be ordering it from Japan for certain option's if the exact car isn't readily available in Canada but it'll still be LHD.

No problem! It's a rule we probably don't make aware as much as we should.
