Generally I wouldn't post such a thread, as most messageboards frown upon 'introductory' threads.

However, since that's what this forum is for, what the hell. :)

I'm James, 19. I hail from the north-western part of hell... I mean Winnipeg. My ride is a 97 Camaro (http://members.cardomain.com/silver97bullet), silver, t-tops, A4... and no, it's only a 3.8L V6. :) But a ride is a ride, and I enjoy mine.

I may be attending school in the fall in Calgary, so a friend of mine suggested I check out the site.

So here I am... and I reiterate... howdy.

Welcome man..

Winnipeg isnt that bad now is it? It was still ok when i left.

FYI, not everyone in Calgary says Howdy.

I know, I've been to Calgary before (my uncle lives in Tuscany Valley), but howdy was just the first word to pop into my head.

To keep it short and sweet, Winnipeg is crap. :D

Welcome James,

Clean car (even if it is just a V6). My uncle has a couple of 99 Camaros in Winnipeg. An SS SLP convertible (POSSUM) and a Z28 coupe.

As a former Winnipeg myself (born, raised and gone in 2001) all I can say is that its never too early to leave Winnipeg. Although there are things in Winnipeg that I miss, I dont regret moving here at all.

Grand Beach is insane. I take people there all of the time and most cant believe their eyes.

Several kilometers of beach with 80,000 people on it... in Manitoba. Rated as one of the top 10 beaches in North America by Playboy.

Yes, Grand Beach is always a good time.

I can't wait to leave this place. Tuscany Valley is so nice, I can't wait.

Wildcat! Hey, it's James from F-Body!

None of those guys really know I may be coming to AB. I'm keeping it on the downlow from most of the people I know. Just until I'm 100% on it. This is my research/get acquainted stage.
