hey guys

i own a 89 crx and im planning to swap the 91si engine i have in there right now. im lookin for somethin affordable because i have some body work that needs to be done. i was lookin at either the b18b integra engine or the zc, more leaning to the zc, plus its a direct bolt on so my search has told me. i also saw that there were 2 kinds of zc's, the sohc and dohc. just wondering what the difference was between the two and which one would be better for a turbo? im not lookin for outrageous speed. just somethin to get around with a little bit of a kick. or any other suggestions for an engine or any help at all will be appreciated

thanks

stick with the D-series, get a dual ZC and have fun.

SOHC = Single OverHead Cam

DOHC = Dual OverHead Cam

generally speaking DOHC have more power than SOHC.

go with the zc :thumbsup: if you have an si it will be a direct bolt in and id super easy to do. only a little bit more work if its not an si.

zc + i/h/e = fun ride
