k, right now it's an auto but i wana convert it to a standard..can someone give me a ballpark on how much this is gunna cost, thanks :D

What year? If you can do the work yourself it wont cost too much, but it is a lot of work. There are lots of 240 trannys kicking around due to the SR swaps, and if its an older 240 there will be lots of parts cars around. Check out 240sx.org I think there is a writeup on how to DIY. Also, are you on www.n-e-c-c.com ???If not come check it out!

sell your 240, then buy a manual one.

or swap in an sr20det with a standard transmission. Depends on your long term plans for the car.

I have actually had this done. Autodream did it for me for 700 dollars. My car used to be automatic but the SR20DET came with a manual, and I hate auto's so...

Don't know how much the tranny costs though...

hollywood=adrian has a tranny from his 95. $250 for the tranny but you will need a manual drive shaft.
