i have an 85 GTS (ae86) that i may consider selling for around that.

there is/was one in the bargain finder for $750. its listed as a gts. its by the university. rust isn't so bad. engine needs a tune up.
might be worth taking a look at. i checked it out, but i want a gts ;)
