Are the 3rd gens the ones with the battery problem where after a certain number of recharges you have to send it in to Apple to replace the batteries? Cause if not I might be interested.

your talking about 2nd gens. the 3rd gens have 8hrs battery life 4th gens have 12hrs.

the problem with 4th gens s that they have moving parts not like the 3rd gens also the 3rd gen include a ton of accessoires thes 4th gens have basic stuff.

as for the ipod its sold sorry.

actually that is the third gen, i have a 2nd gen, my battery lasts beautifully for at least 12 hours
