hrmmm bmw in the states rarely do events like that... but the dealer where i got my 5 series from already has 3 Z4s in the lot....

Man I find that car ugly... but then again, I find lots of cars ugly when they first come out. Maybe it'll grow on me haha. Anyone have a pic of a white one with a grey top?

That Z4 demo car at the automall is just racking up the miles. There was so many ppl in line for the test drive on Saturday. The car would come back from one test drive, and immediately another couple would get in and go for a testdrive.

I wasn't too impressed with the Z4. I found the interior to be rather sparse and the rake of the windshield made it seem like I was looking out a gunslit. I like the side and back view of the car but I really don't care for the front view. I saw a photoshopped Z4 with an M5 front end and really, really liked what I saw. In my opinion, that is what BMW should have built. Is it just me or does the back look like a 3rd gen RX7?

As far as the event goes it was first rate. Huge props to BMW for putting on such an event. The Palliser Hotel is luxurious, there was sushi, a chef cooking and serving thinnly sliced beef, import beer, wine, a chocolate fondue fountain and first rate service everywhere. I can only hope Porsche will do something similar when they release the Cayenne. I saw Andrew Baker there - maybe he will have some influence towards that end.

I think I like it better than the Z3. The directional rims on Bol's picture looks like it came from an Aston Martin Vantage.

I saw the movie on the web and they showed it again at the Z4 unveiling. Still not impressed with the front end styling...and that is after seeing the car in person as well.

The Z9 looks interesting though.....but I would rather have a Porsche Carrera GT.

Z4 :thumbsdow The side bodywork looks especially fugly, replace the Z4 with an Aztek in that BMW movie and everyone will want an Aztek.

I wanted to test drive the Z4 too but I didn't know they had a demo at the dealership already! Guess I'm going to go in the line up too then!

I don't think that porsche will do an event like that because they are an extremely small dealership compared to bmw. The porsche dealership probably only sells at most a 100 new cars a year. But I hope they do because I will recieve an invitation:burnout:

The trunk on the Z9 seems to have taken some styling cues from the 745. It looks like a cool car, with the gullwings and all that.

Highrollers only I suppose.

WHOA! Were those pics of the unveiling of girlRACER or the new Z8?? Cuz if it wasn't unveiling of the local skank, you should get your UGLY ASS OUT OF THE WAY so we can actually see some pictures of the fucking car!!

The title was exactly that = "My Z4 launch pics" and not titled "Pictures of the Z4 from the Z4 launch." The Z4 launch was an EVENT where people go and view the car; a wine and dine social event. If you wanted to see straight pictures of the BMW Z4 then go to the frigging website!!
I was trying to show the fun of going to the event where real people go! Oh and by the way, I don't care that YOU think I'm an "ugly ass." If I cared what people thought of the way I looked I wouldn't have posted pictures at all. You're being highly unreasonable.

When I take pictures of cars, I would *never* think about having myself in the photograph, especially if i'm not the owner of it. I'd feel like such a poser....
