Hmm... I was just watching a rerun of Elizabeth Smart playing the harp.
Who plays the harp?
Does anyone know anybody who plays a harp?

the harp is incredibly hard to play well, and INSANELY expensive.

my mom knew someone that played the harp. pretty damn nutty.

I think parents get their kids into it because it's a lesser known instrument, but it still holds some classical element to it.

no one plays the spoons, but do you really want your kid doing it?

course there's different harps.. those gigantic 17th century style harps, or chinese harps... but the huge european ones are the style that everyone equates with the harp.

ya.. that harp that elizabeth was using looked really expensive, it was really huge
