Who here went to edmonton for the car show? Did you guyz like it? i liked it

well it was a hell of a lot better than vub. vub = stupid. scn = not too shabby. the thing that got me was that there were like 5 honda awards and only 1 award for the other brands. that was lame. too much props to the ez crew as well. gaybots. everything about them is shitty, their shop is in one of the shittiest places in town, shittiest shop in town, the dude used his old mom for model shoots???

yeah VUB Calgary rocked over VUB Edmonton...just a better turn out overall, made it really nice...

sorry, should have clarified. vub edmonton was quite weak. i "hear" from many people that vub calgary was much better. scn was far better than vub edmonton. not even a comparison. it made vub edmonton look like a big chop shop

I contemplated on going...then I went back to bed.

I thought VUB Calgary was great. The Venue was awesome for it.

I'm just growing a little tired of the same stuff is all. I swear, I have like 5 or 6 photos of these cars already for the most part. Same thing at every show. Granted every show has something new right? But almost always not my taste, especially when as a photographer I'm "Expected to have pics for every show", especially when I'm not making a single dime most of the time. :rolleyes:

Only reasons I go is to support my friends who have cars in it.

Yah most of the cars are the same but at least these enthusiasts are coming out and supporting the various shows to help the scene grow. Hopefully we have a huge influx of spoiled kids who dump thousands into their cars for the upcoming years. Yah they don't deserve it blah blah but it would be great for the show scene. :drama:

I thought it was a great show... definately the best that Edmonton has ever seen. I was very impressed with the venue and setup of the event. Not to mention double deez :D
