on a 1978 honda civic....the drivers door is screwed or something...in order to close it properly, you have to lift the door up a bit...is there any way to fix this or how much would it cost to get someone to fix it for me??

there is a way to adjust the doors..hopefully someone on here can elaborate this for me, but have a look at the hinges to make sure theyre straight and tight..make the necessary adjustements if need be, so you bought the civic

The old Civics do that due to the door pins/brackets getting worn out over the years. I think the only way to fix it would be to replace the pins/brackets......

Your best bet would be to go to Pick-Your-Nose and grab some from there. They usually have like 10 or so 1980 and older Civics there:thumbsup:

how much would you pay for it?? oh yeah here's everything i know about it as it stands...
it burns a bit of oil
you have to lift the drivers door to close it proplerly (sometimes)
body color is blue, but the doors are a different color (not sure)
it has seats transported from a van in it....
other than that i don't know much else....it runs good, and handles like a go cart...how much would you offer me?
