I have a full bumper to bumper warrenty on my car and I was unsure if I put a cold air intake in my car if it would void warrenty? Also do they make a noticible difference?

1. ask your dealership
2. a CAI wont make much difference on its own, but its a necessary mod when u begin to do other stuff..

I have a 2001 Z24. My warm air intake gave me 4 horsepower at the wheel on Davenport's dyno.

I wouldn't worry about the warranty issue. There is something called the Magnusson-Moss act that protects you. Basically a Dealership has to prove the mod you've done has caused the problem before denying warranty service. And they can't deny warranty service on something like the suspension, because of a mod like an intake.

I take my car into Jack Carter (well I used to, but they have done nothing but give me grief) and Murray's in Lethbridge. I've never had a problem with the mods I have. In Lethbridge, the shop foreman had a crowd of techs around my car checking out the mods the last time I went to pick it up. :)

Hope this helps you out.

If the mod causes damage it will void service on repairs and parts. Otherwise no. For example if your axl breaks your air intake will not void warrantee. This is for Honda anyways, Im not sure about other cars.

That's for all cars.
