Is anyone interested in an Art Parkade Pass at the University of Calgary for the Fall Semestar??
Asking only 400$
Single entry is like $5.50? I think, not sure but around there.

Their really hard to get even especially when ur in ur first 3 yrs of University.

uh... art parkade passes are by lottery... I don't know what you're talking about there's no waiting list.

funny...how it doesnt even equal to $400 per sem if you get it from school

and..waiting list?..i entered 3 times (me and 2 finreds) and now i have 3 spots to buy a pass...

last year, i had 8 spots..

but no art parkade for me..not worth it this year...

How much does the university charge for these now? And aren't these non transferable(in writing)?

ok, i thought my friend got it off waiting list, but i guess i was wrong. university charges $760 which means its $380/semestar.

and also, if there wasnt some kind of demand for it, then why would it be a draw? y didnt they just sell as much as they can?
thats just what I think, but I dont know too much how this works.
I mean trying to make 20$ off this isnt going to kill anyone

I'll take it for the face value from ya if the University has no problems transferring it to me.

Note that the results of this lottery are non-transferable: the permit
can only be issued to you as the lottery winner. Once issued, the permit
cannot be transferred to another person.

This is straight from the email i got when i won the lottery, too bad i just got a pass for lot 2 :P

I won a spot in that lottery again as well. Art Parkade passes USED to be in demand when it was $550 for two semesters but now it's over $700 for the year it's not worth it.

This year I'm gonna go all cheap and park at McMahon and save myself any parking charges.

McMahon is not free... i think it is like $120 for 2 semesters.

Thats still pretty fuggin cheap compared to your options. I gave up a $700/year pass because it was rediculous to pay that much.

Yeha lot 10 is getting pretty expenisve now.... i think its 2.75 all day...

30 days * 2.75 = 82.50

only prob is if u have later classes, like 10am or later. getting a spot in lot 10 will be pretty hard. and lot 32 has a long line up around that time.
