Forcefed

Car was there because if you look at the pic of the rim, its bent. Also when trying to take the Targa off they scrated the 3 stage paint. It's in for "minor" repairs:thumbsup:

First of all, it's not a factory wheel, so it's just like every other wheel.

Second, look at how wide the dish is on the back, think of an empty soup can, if you squeeze the edges it bends way easier than down near the bottom....same principle with deep dish wheels...

lol, nice one man, but ya that explains it, but knowing the wheel can potentially bend, wouldn't the manufacture do something about it?? or are they just like microsoft,

Maybe if I was 16 or a middle age guy with a Jerry curl, a small dick, and a pocket full of Viagra I would drive a car like that. Thats just a flashy attention whore type vehicle for those who dont know what a pure sports car is

Damn .. when did my dream become " a middle age me with small dick and viagra " ... ?

Nice lovely sexy car .. I always love Lambo, Yes, the Diablo is not a good "sport" car, an STi, or M3, or C55 etc is probaby quicker then it on street or even track, Engine for the Diablo is somehow sitting quite high, the the handling is nothing special, even a VT, still need about 5 second from 0-60mph... however, it is a car to LOOK at or being LOOKED.

Pure Sports car for the 90's ? how about a F355 ? 993GT2 ? or a Lotus Espirist Turbo S4s ?

although I will concede that the likes of lamborghinis and ferraris are not pure sports cars, they weren't concieved as such.

Between those two lamborghinis are more sporty, often missing parts of the dash and what not(this of course does not take the enzo into account...which is a whole nother ball of wax). But they are both still mostly a luxury car with a lot of balls(I drove a ferrari 360 two weeks ago...it was an amazing thing...but it kinda rode like a luxury car, only really phuckin fast)

I'm going to have to laugh in anyone's face who thinks a MR2, lotus, 355 or any other peice of garbage that was mentioned in this mis-informed thread.First off I would like to now what you think a sports car is because when I read that a lotus was considered more of a sports car just know there was nothing I could do to control myself from bursting out with laughter.Second if you think it's a luxury it's very clear you have now idea at all, even in the slightest because you can call a Lincoln, Cadillac, Lexus or Mercedes a luxury and the only thing that the Diablo has in common with those (other than what is expected from a car) is a leather interior. Finally if your going to talk about a cars performance specs or about a car in general please do your research other wise keep it to yourself because you only make yourself look like a moron.

Now who doesn't know anything?

As mentioned above, the silver roadster was sold to an individual in Edmonton. It is a 96. It is NOT a Millenium edition (MY 99 only).

I agree that there were some ignorant statements made earlier in the thread about "sports cars" and the Diablo's performance and abilities. But you better make sure you aren't spouting similar crap shortly after chastising others...

Man those cars are expensive to fix. An oil change for cars like that is going to cost you at least $5k!

You will not spend $5k on an oil change.

The general allowance for a major service on a Ferrari is about $5k, but Lambos are actually less expensive to maintain.

$500 every 2 weeks for a 348 GTS to have the oil changed. Somethign seemed wrong if you ask me but thats what she was told to do and thats what shes been doing to her 348.

Nice ride none the less me&you.

She shouldn't be having her oil changed every two weeks unless she's driving 2,500km per week. 5k intervals are fine for her car. I will assume that the person doing the service is the one who told her every two weeks and $500 a pop; I'd tell them where to shove their $500 oil changes if I were her.

The only exotic that requires any crazy oil changes is the Enzo; $900USD per quart... now that's crazy. Still not every two weeks though!

BTW, what did you mean "nice ride"?

I guess still many people having mis understanding on those exotic cars such as Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus Esprit ..

Yes .. oil change for those car are expensive .. very expensive .. but oil change every 2 week? yeah . if you are going to put 3000 miles in 2 week ..

most people only put ~ 5000 km on them each yr .. so, oil change once a yr is more then enough! ( say every April/ May )

Parts for those cars are expensive .. however, spending $30 on oil change for a $3,000 civic, is 1% .. spending $500 on oil change for a $300,000 Ferrari .. is 0.15% ...

Major service on those car .. is probaby $5K-6K .. every 20,000 km .. which is 4-5 yr for average driver ..

of coruse, tires, gas, etc are expensive ...

Cost for running a Ferrari 360 for example, is way less then a CL600! :D

i think alot of it has to do with preventitive maintenance... replacing stuff before it breaks. most of them have the engine out as well. if you can afford a $100,000 car, chances are you can afford the parts and service. oil changes, don't know too much about it, but prob. depends on what the mechanic says and how much you drive it.

This car is my buddies, it's actually a 1987 Civic Wagovan that he bought a body kit for from Jah-pan. But in all reality it's actually faster than a Lameborghini because he has a Spoon engine with a MoTec system exhuast. As for his rim, he bent it when he took the car off a jump we made in the middle of the street, it was cool because he got like 3 feet of air.

Jokes aside, that car is tits. I'd love to see one in person but I'm in Medicine Hat. The fastest street legal vehicle we have in Medicine Hat is a Duramax Deisel with something like 1100hp. :bigpimp:
