1990 Nissan 240sx for sale. It's red in color and is very clean.

Just installed a new engine last year with only 3000km on this engine. The engine still has a warranty from the installation shop. And the body still has very low kms on it (160 000km).

I have Tokico shocks all around. Also have 2 sets of rims and tires (15" and 16"). Have a performance muffler and exhaust. CD and AMP. 5 speed manual transmission.

I am asking $8500 obo.

I need to sell this car before university satrts up again.

Its a great little car which has been well cared for.

What kind of new engine? (KA24DE/SR20DET/CA18DET/etc)
How many total Km's on this new engine or was it rebuilt before it was installed?

The engine is a rebuilt KA24DE - SOHC.

And was rebuilt prior to the install. So ithas 3000km on it since the install/rebuild.

If its a SOHC its a KA24E, which is what the car came with stock. The D stands for DOHC.

Still confused about the engine. I didn't think they put SOHC engines in the 240sx?

that doesn't make any sense, the d stands for dual over head cam, so how is it a single over head cam? Is it just a ka24e?

Sorry I guess it would only be the ka24e then, because it is just a single overhead cam.

I have decided to drop the asking price of the car to: $7500.00 OBO.

So make me an offer on it.

I agree. If you are willing to drop the price to somewhere around the 5g range, i'll probably take it off your hands this week.

Sorry, not trying to low ball but i think your asking price is a little too high.

Thanks for the imput guys. I was wondering why so few people were showing intrest in my car.

So, I guess I will drop the price to $6000

yeah. i think 6000 is still a little steep for a 90 SOHC.....

i'd still like to have a look, if that's alright.

you could always put it into the bargain finder or canada trader where less people know so much about cars.... most of the guys on this site know the going price for their type of car in 3 continents
