sub box

im new to the sound system thing and i was wondering if sub boxs really batter or can I make it out of just some ply wood sitting around? also do I need an amp to power like 1 or 2 subs in my jeep?

if your goin to do it yourself use 3/4 mdf and use self tapping screws and lots of wood glue. dont use plywood. mdf is really cheap. about the amp it depends what kind of amp you have ex. monoblock or 4 channel. it also depends on how much power your subs need

yes sub boxes matter.
i do believe that some subs sound much better with specific specs. to the box. depending on the sub, the specs. will be different for each sub.
