Hi, me and a friend are taking the bus to Toronto this afternoon, and its a projected 50 hr busride. WTF can we do to pass time? We have books, iPods, cards, alcohol, any other ideas? Besides sleep.

Thx

Two old gameboy's, Tetris and a link cable.

At least 75hrs worth of fun.

Actually it's $160 if you book 7 days in advance. I'd still fly though. 50 hours is along time to be on a bus.

Add the price of food and snacks that youll eat over the 50 hour period and youre at arounf $180, thats the price I recently paid, taxes in, for a one way ticket from TO to Calgary. Long bus rides can be an adventure though.

long weekend, plane tickets were 285 after all the taxes, while we paid 123.50 for the bus

wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of a trip out there on a long weekend? haha i mean your spending about 2 days on the bus already...

How do long bus rides like that work? Do you stop along the way for 15 min brakes a lot and they just switch up drivers? Or do you stop overnight or anything?

If she's sitting in a bus for 50 hours, don't know how much I'd want to :poosie:

IMO $150 is WORTH not sitting for 50 hours on a bus. I go to Winnipeg to visit friends and family and I dont even bother driving there because its a waste of 2 holiday days.

I also find buses pretty sketchy. Very often you are sitting with not the most desirable people. Not saying that people that people on planes are any better. However you only have to spend 4 hours on a plane and not 50 on a bus.
