Car painting

My friend owns a 88 toyota corolla with minimal rust and such and we have on a previous occasion sanded the rust a bit and painted the rust spots with spray paint. Now he wants to actually paint the whole car. He's just wondering how much it would cost to paint the whole car. Can anyone help me out and give me an estimate of pricing and a place that anyone would recommend? He wants just the basic paint job, nothing fancy.

If nothing else go to Macco, they sound like they'd be in your friends price range, but he'll end up painting his car every year for the rest of his life.
