absolutely! There are some really fast cars on beyond. I have heard of only about 2 or 3 streetable cars that could take my bike in the 1/4 or top speed.

OK Buddy... comparing a car to a motorcycle is reasonable, not to a 20 million dollar fighter jet.

You're not the sharpest crayon in the box are you?

Oh and actually a F-14 to a Haybusa is a much better comparison:

Hayabusa:

Weight: 478.4 Lbs
Power: 160Hp

that means each Horse moves 2.99 Lbs

F-14:

Weight: 43600 Lbs loaded with weapons
Power: 40000 Lbs of thrust

Each pound of thrust moves 1.09 Lbs

DSM:

Weight: 3900Lbs
Power: 175HP (based on an average of 140HP non turbo and 210 HP turbo)

Each Horse moves 22.28 Lbs

So please STFU since no one said anything about the price difference ok, coolio?

Well, consider this thread hijacked.

I guess we should stay on topic.....whatever that was.

oh and not trying to be a bastard but

Hayabusa:

Weight: 478.4 Lbs ---actually 560lbs wet plus a rider
Power: 160Hp ---actually 174hp at the flywheel

that means each Horse moves 2.99 Lbs ---actually 4.368 lbs/hp

a hayabusa is the fastest production mottorcycle there is its like lighting on wheels one of my buddys has one, there is no way any car on beyind is that fast.

I drive one everyday to work, and yes there are cars faster. Not many, but there are a few.

There is a way, by forcing more than 14.7 Psi into the cylinders.

Ok dumbass... you sure proved your point. It IS a much better comparison to put the F-14 head to head with a Motorcycle.

Its a wonder we don't see more of these comparisons because i can totally see the similarities between twin turbofan engines with afterburners and the hyabusa's 1.3 litre engine.

Oh... and your F-14 specs are only suited to your calculations, some f-14s take of with as much as 73000 pounds of take off weight... much more than your 43600 pounds.

So get your head out of your own ass k

I was just proving a point cause you OBVIOUSLY didn't get the fact that I was joking, I am no aeronautics pro.....did you forget to take your slow-boy pills today??

BTW even at 73000 Lbs the ratio is still 1.825 ahahahahaha

I could be way off, but I think a hayabusa puts down about the equivalent of 1000lbs of thrust in first gear at peak torque.

(102ft# * 9.822 transmission ratio) / (12.3/12) wheel radius

Putting it at somewhere near .478 lbs / 1lb of thrust.
