I saw one that looked better than that... check this month's Motor Trend if anyone here gets it. I can post a scan later, but it looks pretty good. I'm excited about the 400hp and the dual-dual exhaust.

it was a joke, referring to the fact that it is so high off the ground.

it doesnt look right. i think it may actually be a bad picture or bad angle or something. they dont look that lame in real life (unless they have changed the body since 2004)

Yeah, GTOs look alright. I saw one at Formula D a month ago or so, but then again, that was with the body kits and stuff.

I get what you are saying, It looks like a 1/18 model of what it should look like. At least if you hit a racoon it will go right into the air intake.

I think its a disgrace that they put the GTO name on this car.

Looks like a Bonneville/Grand Prix/Grand Am - in other words they brought back a legendary car and made it look like nothing special :thumbsdow

Like the HP and the fact that its RWD, but they should have put a different name on this. Save the GTO name for a Pontiac that looks really mean. This isn't it.

I saw a review of this thing on Road & Track or Car and Driver or something and they didn't like it at all. They said there wasn't enough time put into development and it just didn't feel right. Too bad they ruined the GTO brand.

looks like it got mixed with a grand prix and a neon. Hood scoop makes it look werid only good thing about is the gain in horsepower

Agree with you on all points. I'm disappointed in Pontiac.

Better photos, but it looks very ordinary.

...........snip

You rather have the traditional "Pontiac" styling with the hood vents, side moldings that take up half the car and wacky wheels?

No, this is a definite step up from those garish Pontiacs. I just wish they went further and made less boring because they're going in the right direction.

They should have just taken the Holden body and did a subtle change to it to reflect some Pointac trademarks. That would have worked alright.

The way it looks, it does look pretty bland. Like a late 90's base model Grand-Am

umm, chrysler 300, chrysler crossfire, dodge srt4, dodge viper, c6 corvette, ford lightning, cobra mustang, ford gt, etc, etc, etc.

n/a manufacturers have really started to turn it up in the last few years.

This is a crock of shit. Since the GTO was first produced in 1964 it was a piece of shit car with a different motor, trans, and rear. A lemans that was "tricked out".

This is carrying on the same basic idea, which is what pontiac was going for, a car that looks like it wouldn't be more than a late 90's grand am, except for the fact that it puts down over 300hp to the wheels.

I think Pontiac did a real good job making the new GTO, and they are OK to drive too. Took one out a couple of weeks ago. Im not gonna say that they are awesome cars, but for a "hopped up grand am" i think its ok.
