So she turned 6 months old...and shes in her first heat.
Anyways, i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice.

I want to breed her eventually one i pimp her to the right male. Here's my issue, she's deaf. Between family and friends, we now know that my poor baby girl has maybe 3-5% hearing left, if that. Can her deafness be passed down to her litter of pups? I think that it is not a trait passed down through genes...am I correct? Or will her puppies end up deaf too? Please help, because I feel so sorry for one deaf dog, I don't want to end up having her plus 4...

Yes it can be passed on, you should get her fixed. Sorry.

Do the right thing. Have her fixed. Animals are not cash cows. Forgive the pun. :)

Some important parts that I read:

"Dogs with deafness in 1 ear can have pups that are deaf in both or neither. Statistically however, deaf parents are more likely to produce deaf pups." & "Deafness can not be cured or treated, but dogs can generally accommodate very well, particularly if only deaf in 1 ear. They should not be bred."
