Spotted: Kia Rio Sport-Pac

Ok, first I'll apologize for making a spotted thread with no pics, but has anyone seen this?

On crowchild this evening just south of the turnoff to university drive, this thing goes by in the opposite lane:

I didnt know they actually went into production, they arent on the Kia web site that I can find, but I saw it with my own eyes :rofl:

The only thing in common is the Kia runs 13's in the 0-60 and STi does 1/4 mile.

The car is a regular rio with a few add ons. It costs a thousand dollars more than a regular rio and you get a tach, mp3 player, the hood scoop, fog lights, the spoiler, and the wheels and tires. You also get the factory tires and rims for winter.

I saw one today, this guy was parked outside Wal-Mart waiting for his girl or something, didn't have the gold rims though. And IMO it's easy to tell the difference between it and the STi ( I mean it's obvious by looking).

lol, the blue ones look ridiculous, I've only seen them for the first time today at the Kia dealership off Macleod, but it was a lot full of red ones. Funniest thing of all is that a few of them had the hood scoop slanted vertically, I guess whatever adhesive they used to put those things on the hood is Kia quality too.

While those blow, I did see a very cool concept Kia. Did I actually use the words "cool" and "Kia" in the same sentence?? Anyways, it was a very nice looking hatchback with a supercharged 200 hp motor. Appearantly they are going to bring it out in 2007 and will be based on the new Tiburon coming out the same year.
