what needs to be done to import a car from the states ??? and how will i know the car will be legal in Canada?

well i found a couple good deals on a E46 M3 . :thumbsup: they work out to be about 40k CDN with about 44k miles on it . so just wondering :D :D

Contact the registrar of imported vehicles 1-888-848-8240 as well as Transport Canada 1-800-333-0371 to see if the vehicle is admissable
They will also give you all the info on what you might have to do to the car to register it

basically its a PITA unless its a old car. Just beware there is an A/C tax and a tax because the car was not built in North America. You'll probably need to get DRLs fitted at minimun. :(
