this is an 86 oldsmobile cutlass, as all options in car, and the big engine, gots true dual exhaust, 6 wheels and tires worth alot all brand new rubber
the car was rebuilt the entire front end and rear end have both been rebuilt
mechanically, the car is perfect, only problem is that the oil pan is leaking around the seal, and need a engine shampoo, which is like 50$
comes with stereo aswell jensen
the car has been converted to a hardtop, witchmeans no vinyl on all rust has been removed and repaired, and the passenger door needs replacment, pick your part=i think 30$
and the rear bumper is crome with 2 spots of rust idont know how to perair that,
so the only thing the exteriopr needs is to paint the car!
i say black or wgite but its up to you
interior is perfect condition and extremely comfy with power seats aswell
so n e ways price

1500!!!!firm!!!!
NEW PRICE
now droped to!1500!
wil trade for a crappy running civic hatch and thouand dolars,, if anyone has a 500$ hatch

that a good deal

pm me if you are interested
thanx

this is an old picture of the car ,, needs paint cause we did lot of bodywork to it!
imm telling you, if you finish the body work and paint the car you could sell it for 6000$!

moose_8
09-09-2004, 07:40 PM
taking the vinyl off the roof doesn;t make it a hardtop
but these cars are great
but not worth that much

SuggarDaddy

i'd agree with moose_8

AllGoNoShow
09-09-2004, 08:08 PM
I disagree, I'll bet you $50 if someone finishes the body work, cleans up the car, and shines it, you can sell it for over 5,500 US, yes I've seen it done, more then once, do you fuckign research morons and stop posting on threads uselessly.

not trying to steal your thread, but you listed it as a 86 cutlass supreme broughm, for sale,5.0L. Did you put a Ford engine in this thing or what?

Reason I am asking is because I would be interested if you had put a Ford motor in it.

:dunno: Chevy 5.0.... aka a 305/paper weight:dunno:

AllGoNoShow
10-16-2004, 12:38 PM
No its a 305 rebuilt from the previous owner before he has it, we don't knwo what he did to it but Ive driven other 305s and this thing has alot more spunk, but this could be from the suspension it has. It has new edelbrock carb aswell, I believe its a 600cfm but I am not sure. Why would you be interested with a ford motor in it because if thats the selling point we can drop a 351W in there or sell you one with the car. Let shane (241 0713) or I know (619 7995, James)

i picked up a better looking car for $200 with a 350 in it, it was the same as yours but blue and very minty. but i parted it out, thats the only way you will get anywhere near that ammount of money you want for that beast

a 5.0L is not only made by ford.
a 5.0L GM engine would be a 305 or 307. Like he listed 305.

Thanks for the useless post, yah you can pick up a $200 Cutlass with a 350/305 in it 1. it isnt a rebuilt engine, 2. it isnt upgraded carb, 3. it isnt a fully rebuilt suspension, 4. it isnt a fully rebuilt steering system 5. it doesnt come with 10 rims/wheels

actually it isn't a ford thing. I am not familiar with small blocks at all ;)

I might own a couple of mustangs of various years, but not one of them has a small block in it, and I don't drive them as I am a truck person.

The reason I was looking for a Ford motor from that car is that I have someone looking for a small block ford.

I build em, and sell em. Thats it.

Anyways, typical Beyond.ca response bud.

Well he has a 351w I believe it is that he can sell with the car but we are currently in the middle of an enigne swap so there is no more room for another one, let him/me know if you are interested in it.

I definatly will.

You guys willing to sell the 351W? If it is fuel injected I might have a buyer for you.

I am trying to find a buyer for the car as well.. Although, I don't deal with many GM products. If I find out anything I will put them through to your phone numbers.

QuasarCav
11-16-2004, 03:21 PM
Paint it and then sell it. If you can get 5500 US for it what is stopping you?

I'll finance your painting of the car with a guaranteed 25% return, should be no prob if you can get over 5G's US for it.

sputnik
11-16-2004, 03:26 PM
Well... you said that it needs an oil pan gasket... and an engine shampoo too. Why would a fresh rebuild need an oil pan gasket? That would be the FIRST think that would be replaced. Also most rebuilt engines wouldnt need an engine shampoo either. Where is all of this oil coming from? The amount of uncertainty about the car is the reason you will be LUCKY to get $1000 for it. Not too mention the ugly aftermarket wheels and the ugly bumps put on the hood.

Trust me. I have an 87 that has been in my family since new (325,000km on the 305) I know the problems that they have and where they break down (even with meticulous care).

For $3000 I would expect to get a completely original, low mileage car that has lived in a garage most of its life. If all it needs is paint why not paint it and get the $5500 that you are telling everyone else they will get.

shane
11-16-2004, 03:30 PM
cause the guy that had it brfore me is a tard,

and im saying ive seen therse cars go for 5500
not saying mine will im simply saying my car is not worth 500$

and if any of you know a cheap paint place ill paint it!

sputnik
11-16-2004, 03:40 PM

And why dont you post some current pictures of it?

Just make sure your next bump has some pics in it.

AllGoNoShow
11-16-2004, 05:02 PM
then ill bump it, you guys a bunch of whores.

Just because an engine is rebuitl doesn't mean it needs an engine shampoo, it isnt a fresh rebuild morons, and yes after driving it around your engine gets dirty and shit.

The oil was coming from the Valve Covers which were replaced with chrome ones and new gaskets, the gaskets didn't seal right, so that is where th eoil is coming from, we have new gaskets but he just doesn't want to put them on right now he has other things to do.

If your basis of "aftermarket" wheels makes the decision of which car you want to buy, then its a good thign your a ricer eh?

Since your all bitching about pics I'll go over to his house and take them in a few days, if you don't want to buy the car, get out of the thread.
