advice needed(belt squeel)

everytime i start my car the belt squeels......then i rev the engine to 3000rpms and the squeeling stops.....sometimes when i turn on the heater it squeels again....and suggestions on what it could be

It's the alternator belt, when you turn on the heater it puts more load on the alternator causing the belt to squeek.

Either tighten the belt becuase it's loose or replace it because it's old.

Quick fix= Belt dressing from canadian tire, stops the squeek for a while.
