this list is total bs. columbus beat out calgary, buffalo beat out montreal and salt lake city is somehow 23!!! my city isn't even ranked, but niagara falls ny, just over a bridge, and has just a few sports team as we do is somehow 145th!! :bullshit:

well i could see calgary being way down there seein as we dont have a basketball or mlb team.

niagara falls ny is 145 and hamilton is somehow in the 300s....gee, you think SI is an american company?? :dunno:

Columbus has a college football team that draws literally 100,000+ to each and every game. Calgary couldn't come close to that if we wanted to. I'd say that warrants them a higher ranking??

Seeing as how they used NCAA as indicators as well, we should be happy that we're in the top 100, let alone top 50. It's not exactly like the NHL is a huge league in the US, but we're still getting recognition.
