Another Air Compressor Question

Hi,
I want to do some DIY Auto painting. The body work needs to be rubbed right back to metal and painted. My garage only has 115Volts. It is proving a pain to run 240 Volts as the basement is finished and outside is paved.
Can I still use an Air Compressor in 115V range to do the type of work I want to do??

Can't you run an above ground conduit? You should check with an electrician as there are specific building codes.
