i think they're really going for the whole effect of how batman started off (ghetto but he gets better); u build up as u go along kind of idea.

It's a play-off of the Batmobile from The Dark Knight Returns. It doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the one in the comics though. But remember, Batman rarely comes out during the day. We'll only see the Batmobile at night and there was already a pic of a nightshot released on the site.
