152 wheel horse power
so upwards of 200-250hp

The rims are 15" rays Volk, tires are 205 55 15. no names in the front and are 95%, they are pretty decent and ducearo's in the rear and they are pretty bald.

Yes it should have more power! but it does have lower compression pistons. So thats where the lost horse power is but if turbo'd that loss will be a much acceptable increase in power and you wont wreak your engine under high boost.:)

Sorry to hijack the thread jdms13rhd

Niterider, 152 WHP equates to approx 182 HP at the crank(20% drivetrain power loss)...200-250 is WAY overrated...

Nice car though...good luck with the sale :)

I did a 14.7 at med hat race way last summer and I did a 15 flat in race city calgary about 2 months ago. which is about the same. The elevation from med hat to Calgary is usualy 2-3 tenths of a second for n/a cars. The car is usualy pretty consistant depending on the driver.

wich trim of civic is it? ( i wana kno if it has a/c and abs)
and if its ready to be turbo'd, wut size turbo could it handle and at wut psi?

jdms13rhd
11-22-2004, 01:20 AM
It's a CX modle but it doesnt have P/s, A/C or ABS. With the forged pistond and rods and that block saver in there it should be good to 15 PSI and a T3-4 will work wonders. If you want to go cheap you can use a CT-26 from a supra or a Garret T-25 or T-28 from a silvia. Depending if you use the cams that are in there now or if you get some new ones you can get someone to calculate what turbo will be best for you and for the set up. It all depends on what final power is wanted.

This B18B had a LSD and still has short gears so you can go fast at low RPM. Still in 3rd at end of the track.

On the side note this civic is now SOLD to Cory. Thank you to everyones comments and intrest. Now selling cars from Japan.

Hope you enjoy as much as I did Cory.:)
