Kinda reminds me of those old chrysler "boost gauges" that lit up and read turbo when your turbo kicked in. It's kinda rice and has no real use but for some reason It's grown on me.
What do you guys think?
Anyone have it?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1835377856

More of a gimmick than anything else... a good driver should know when the car is in vtec, and be able to keep it there...

I wouldn't call that a "performance" mod.

You can make on of those by doing this:

I agree with the cosmetic idea.... If you drive a VTEC-equipped car, you should know EXACTLY when the VTEC comes on. It would be cool to see come on , but I'd go with the homemade version...

No harm in having it..no harm in not having it...

From most of the VTEC cars I have ridden in, you have to be totally oblivious to not know VTEC came on. Something that might be useful in certain situations but is generally just a "for the hell of it" mod.

Then you've never been in a car with single cam VTEC... Can't feel anything when the cams change.

Its only rice when someone has it and because they don't have vtec they wire it to there windshield wipers or ciggarette lighter or something like that.

I can't hear yours man.
But that's only because it made me deaf after the first time I heard it (from the inside of MY car!)

No that is definately rice. I don't think this is an issue of whether or not VTEC has engaged. It's just another purdy light posers can add to their car. Do people need windshield washer LED's to tell them that they're squirters are still there? Do people need LED's in their exhaust pipe to warn other drivers that that is where their exhaust exits? RICE and a lame attempt at that...

Wow, you hate ricers more than anyone... I bet if you saw Auncle Ben you'd whoop his ass just for being associated with rice:rofl: lol
