Aug 13th Secret Street - Toma's a Cheater!

I ran a 13.3 against toma's friggin' 10.8@125mph or some shit. Got it on video for a good laugh haha.

The track was very nicely prepped. Unfortunately, I needed wheelspin! So I botched every launch (either bog, or wheel hop) and ran a best of [email protected] with a 2.345 60 ft time :banghead:.

My lighter wheels and skinnier tires gave me a 1mph advantage. It felt faster than that on the street though.

i joined Team Busted Axle tonight! busted it on the line... props go to A1 Krazy Kooter Towing for getting my car home, and props to him for running 12's in his car (that he had to go pick up after he dropped mine off) :thumbsup:

LOL.... I finally worked out the bugs (well, as always, somehow they worked themselves out), and the car ran a 10.43 at 136 mph :burnout:

Yeeeeehaw! Pump gas, and I drove it home ;) (well Denny's first ;))

On the good run, my mph in the eigth was 109 !

I had fun killing cones in the oval. I took my mum and dad for a few laps each,and I let my sister drive 6 laps. Now she's hooked on autocross. Now if only I can get her to drive AND shift :rolleyes:

Is the course layout similar (fast) all the time? If so I'm coming out again, I can't believe there were so few people running.

Actually we did decide to have a Focus/ZX2 meet there ! :)

The course is the same each week,so you can compare your times each visit.

Did anyone watch that big block mustang run? You know, the one in the picture where he drove that thing complete with wheelie bars down to Starbucks on 17th Ave? What a sight to see! Friggin' 8.6@168mph or something haha. The next run he launches harder, then lets off 1/2 way down the track, and laid down 9.4@110mph. Talk about insane.

Big block motor + 20psi boost + 400 shot nitrous == pretty intense ride!

It was my first time out to the friday races and it was insane. That big block mustang was very impressive as was the red civic hatch that ran 12.6sec. I hope to get out soon, just need to put a few more KM's on a new clutch!
If you have never been to the races its a good time!!!:thumbsup:

Was that the black one with the dual carbs and blower? saw it in the pits, it looked as if it had a flintstone rear wheel :rofl:

Didn't get to see it run though, was quite a turn out, I've never seen so many people at race city before...Quite a mixed crowd, lots to see.

I was pretty happy with my one run on the 1/4 mile, did a 13.8 @ 99.7 not bad of an old school BMW with a slipping clutch, did a 2.001 60' so it was hooking up good.

yes the blue one, thanks, hard to tell from inside how it sounds, I have to replace my clutch, centerforce DF and it slips pretty bad in 3rd and higher. Only running 12psi because of it, normally up closer to 20psi on a T04E/T3. I'd be happy with rages 951's time/mph, although he can keep his 60' time :thumbsup:

I believe he was running 13-14psi on 91 octane on Friday (which made 380whp). The 450+ dyno run was at 16-17psi on race gas (which was drained from the tank before track time). With a hundred + more hp available and better driving...the red civic should make for some interesting times.

I was out...didn't see to many runs, but I managed to break into 13's(13.940) with only a turbo back exhaust and fuel cut defender...not bad for a 15 year old 1.3 liter
