This is a semi-pro level microphone for Mini-DV camera. Uses a mini jack, and not the XLR jacks that's used on the pro DV cameras. It comes with the microphone, windscreen, battery, mini plug wire, and the holder that clips onto your camcorder.

Why get this microphone? Well, the built in microphone on your DV camera picks up sounds from all around the microphone. It also picks up horrible wind noise.

The SGM-X shotgun microphone picks up sound only where it's pointed, which makes converations come up nice and clear, and the windscreen is good for outdoor shoots, therefore reducing the background noise. If you've filmed anything outdoors (especially in a moving car), you'd know how bad wind noise is... the audio is pretty much useless.

Why am I selling? I ordered one, they send and charged me 2. So I got one sitting here brand new in box. They charged me $420 after taxes and shipping, so I'm willing to let it go for $200. Easier to sell on here than to return it. Also, it took me a month to get this microphone, since it's new, and nobody really stocks 'em.
