I'm selling my toy, its a 2003 xr50 mini bike. It requires too much of my time, which is something i don't have the patience for. Anyway here is the list of mods:

- 72cc big bore kit
- racing camshaft
- billet triple clamp
- high bars w/ cr250 throttle
- manual clutch kit (3 speed manual)
- 20mm carburetor (stock is 14mm)
- fmf custom pipe
- adult suspension springs
- high rev cdi box

i'm asking $1950, there is over $1500 put into it. sorry no pics yet but I will have some soon.

willing to part it out? or is it going as a whole?

also, this is a smoking deal by itself. a new xr50 is 1900+ after taxes.

sorry, cant part out. definetley a good deal though, if you tried to put all that stuff on a new fiddy you'd be lookin at some serious $$$. but hey its all yours for the low price of $1950.

the big bore kit is actually made by honda, it is the top end out of the xr70. anything bigger than a 72cc you would have to go after market. And then you're lookin at big $$.

Can we see some pics?
You say its got adult springs, what are they? Also what rear shock do you got on it? Let me know, I may be interested.

i'm working on it hopefully by this weekend. the front springs are made by "fast 50's" ( a higher compression rate made for people 150lbs +) , the rear is actually just a stiffer spring also. it is for a bmx bike, i did have to modify the shock slightly to make it fit nice.

hey, thats what its all about. bootn around town on a fiddy, ain't nothin like it. the thing is, none of my buddies want to get one, so they are always askin me to ride mine, and if any of you own a bike you know what the answer to that question is -- hella fu#kin NO!!

when they're sold from the store they are meant for kids yes. if you checked it out there is alot more older people riding them and moding them up. you can pretty much take them anywhere out of the city, or in the city if you want, although that is illeagal. but i have had this thing for about a year and a half now, and i have never been caught -- you just have to be smart about it. there is also a goup of people called the A.M.R.A. which is a road racing club (in calgary) where they race at the go-kart track that is just down the street form race city.

a couple of things to check out: mini moto magazine
fast 50's
hondatrailbikes.com

the stock cdi box has a rev limiter set @ 8000rpm, the high rev box lets you rev past 12000rpm.......(just a quick note)

how did you get a spring for a bmx bike onto a mx bike

...the thing i can't picture is getting the spring off the bmx bike in the first place? when there is no shock on a bmx.......

do you have reciepts for all the parts?

well if you were to check out some of the things that i said to check out, a couple of replies ago, you would probably understand the whole mini bike thing.....anyway half the fun of having these things is moding them up. if you were to check it out you'd see that even the peeps like charmichael and magrath all have little fiddy's. anyway who cares.

and does it really matter what kind of spring is on there, to my knowledge it has like a 300lbs compression rate. but hey i paid about $35 for the spring (alot cheaper than the brand names that sell fiddy stuff, theirs are about $60-$90 depending on the spring).

actually yes it does matter what springs is on it.

for all i know it could be some shitty spring off a wallmart bike .. or some shitty shock.
which would mean the stock spring would be better :thumbsdow

and thats obviously what it is, because a GOOD mountainbike spring (fox, romic.. etc) is atleast 90 dollars.

but then again..... you probbly dont care, and im sure you own a civic with cut springs or something

first of all who the fuck are you??? mr. fuckin cool. your mom wasn't complaining about my cut springs in my civic YOU FUCK. are you even interested in this bike?? no, so what the hell is your problem?? dangerous dean how dangerous are you??? and if you want to put a stock spring on this thing and fuck up the shock with your fat ass then go right ahead, i don't care. if you're just out to piss people off then you've accomplished that, and i would appreciate if you don't even look at this thread again. all it is, is a stiff spring that is on an xr50, i never said it was a fox or whatever you want to call it......so fuck off

DangerousDean
10-02-2004, 07:15 PM
I'm Dean..?
So you do have cut springs? good luck with that .....
Im not intrested anymore.
It would be better to have the stock spring on it then some random customized spring put on by you .
im just trying to help some people out ... so they dont buy your piece of shit :thumbsdow

So a non-brand name spring would make the whole bike a peice of shit?

What the hell are you taking about.
