are you trying to program a remote?

most will work in one of two ways...

try this:
hold down the valet switch, and cycle your car off-on-off-on-off-on (without starting the car), leaving it on... then press the transmit button on the remote... it should chirp... (this is all while holding the valet switch)

if this doesn't work try doing the same, except try off-on-off-on-off-on-off and press the transmit while holding the valet.


if neither of the two work, you'll have to find the brain of the alarm, open the box up, and there will be a reset switch. hold the valet switch down while pressing the reset button, then press the transmit button on the remote while still holding the valet button... it should chirp as confirmation.
