Does anybody know of some good wireless hotspots where i can hang out for a few hours? I'm been looking for a change of scenery since i got a laptop.

Stephen ave has a decent one. I think your limited to an hour per day if you dont pay for it though...

haha, drive around for 5 seconds...itd be easier to name places in calgary that DONT have wireless ;)

Olympic Plaza and the Downtown library is a free hotspot that you can use for an hour a day.

Just go downtown where all the office buildings are, there you go, free internet:D

Its true! i work and live in downtown, at the office there are 12 wifi signals and 6 of them are unprotected. At home (eau claire) 5-7 signals at one time. Also... i've heard rumours that some of the stores in chinook mall are using wifi for billing and other purposes... unprotected.
