My first impressions.
Looks very similar to the 360.
Glad to see it have more power: 483hp @ 8500rpm, 343 lb-ft @ 5250 rpm from 4.3-liter V8 engine.
Though my wost nightmare came true  They used the ugly Enzo style lights for the rear. :thumbsdow
And I think the F430 logo on the mirrors is a bit tacky :thumbsdow

I wonder what Tiff Needell will say about the F430 that replaces his beloved F360

Wait for the price drops to stabilize, buy one for a year or two then sell it. Cheaper than leasing a Benz.

Looks good to me besides the stated dislikes...
I still like the 360s better though.

Would you put the same amount of km on the ferrari as you would the Benz?

Great looking car. I actually hate the styling of the Enzo, but the rear of this model looks good IMO.

Fantastic looking car.....nothing wrong with the tail lights, the evolution is simply taking place. We can't all be stuck in the Miami Vice/Magnum PI styles FOREVER people..

I like the enzo style tail lights... but the rest of the back end looks way too busy. I also find the side mirrors to be a bit ricey as well.

Otherwise its a nice improvement from the 360. Hopefully the 355's continue to drop in price as a result.

haha yes the mirrors are "ricey" on a six figure car... anyway i'm the enzo's biggest fan, so this replacement for the 360 is absolutely gorgeous! has anyone else seen the Imola 600, the replacement for the 575M? im gonna go try and find the pics i had to post...

I think the ass end is damn sexy. The whole car just looks gorgeous to me.

the front air duct looks a bit overkill to me, and as much as i love the taillights, i think ferrari is degrading their own flagship enzo's design. from their top of the line model to their base model, its like the mazda 3 having headlights similar to the rx-8, but worse. even though you can almost see those enzo tail light designs coming for the domestic car companies......

Maybe I can jump into some exotics a 2-3 years from now too:D:bigpimp: Oh how cool it would be to own one:clap:

Nice thing about exotics is that they will depreciate till they aren't worth anything but all of a sudden they're considered classics and are worth a shat load more than they ever were at a dealership. My ex-gf's dad has a 67' GTB that's probably worth half a mil now because they're rare. Only flaw in this logic is if everyone thinks the same way I do now and there are the same number of 2005's in 2055!

Have you seen 328 and 308 prices? You can get a 308 for less than a 350Z nowadays (but with no warranty and expensive parts and maitenance)

Mass-produced (at least in terms of supercars) Ferraris don't increase in value like, say, an Enzo or 250 would.

Also I don't think the 430 will appear on the mirror, as that's the only picture with the text on it. All the other pictures are mirror-text-less.

We would have got on the 430 list today but the guy we want to buy through at the dealer was out... I guess we'll have to wait for Monday then... But we can wait!:D

BTW, 490hp and 334lb-ft... Yes, a Ferrari V8 with torque!:bigpimp:

I think I heard somewhere that those discs are $25 000 to replace or something. Pricey brake job!
