I was thinking maybe i will paint my car after taking out all this rust for experimental purposes you know. would be kinda cool looks kinda ghetto with just primer on it haha.

anyways I was wondering how much it would run me to do a complete color change at home. and what supplies i would need and some good places to get it. I'm starting from scratch. i'm thinking i'll do white because white is easy to wrk with and you can't tell that much with minor inperfections. i don't need perfect anyways.

also some steps would be nice or some advice I know i need to sand the whole thing. But how much of it like some parrts of the car has a perfect paint job on it still. would i just acetone the paint off or sand at like 400-800 grit till it goes down to the white stuff under the paint or how should i go about it.

some quick tips and I can probabaly find most the other info. Just looking for any quick tips that i should be ont he look out for

Thanks so much

vincent
