We have rented a private airstrip west of Didsbury (just outside of Calgary Alberta) to hold a 2 day event featuring:
2 runways of one on one street style drag racing... Import , Euro, and Sport Compact
Sportbike Drags , Wheelie Competitions & Stunt bike teams
Sport Compact, Import, Euro, Lowrider and Sportbike Show and Shine
Best Burnout Competition
The Hawwaiian Tropic Girls Bikini Showdown
Live Bands and D.J.'s
and a whole lot more!!!!

Fugen Eh Productions will be filming an import lifestyle video on site and will have a helicopter on location for overhead filming !!
Major magazine photographers will be on location!!
Cash Prizes , Trophies, and give away's !!
This event is fully insured!!
Open to all !!
Tentative Date will be August 17 & 18, 2002
Stay Posted More Detailed Info to follow in the upcoming weeks.The filming company is handling all the waivers, insurance , and legal issues etc.
This event is open to all people and all shops! (Grudge matches pre-ferred)
Spectator Entry will be a non-perishable food item for the food bank or a car to smash!!
Race fee will be approx. $20.00 per car (includes both days' fees)
All car's will be teched out by licensed mechanics, so cars must be safe in order to race.
The race is on private land, and security will be quite heavy.
Tentative dates are August 17 & 18, 2002.
This is a real event, No Joke!! There will be CASH prizes as well as many trophies and give away's.
Fugen-Eh has been filming down east and has tons of interest from down there and he will be doing an american west coast tour the first 2 weeks of July (filming import shows and drags) and hopes to get some americans up for the event!!

really??? how can a huge event like this have a tentative date???...it woudl be awesome to have it at red deer...it sounds like this might just be a rumor though because of how the location keeps changing
