My deck doesn't light up

any clues of what it could be..? can it be fixed ?? it's a panasonic something..i don't rember exactly what.. but some ppl were telling me i couldn't fix it because it was a digital dot matrix display..

I'd check your ground wire (black), Illumination wire (Orange w/ White Stripe) and make sure they're hooked up. If it's a problem with the deck itself then it will probably cost more to fix than to buy a new one depending on the model.

right after installing..so i'm gunna take it apart and see if those wires are connected.. hmm and the guys at future shop are the ones that installed it..

Just go back to futureshop and tell them your problem. Theyll fix it if its their fuckup. Or if its under warranty or something...

Did they use a snap on harness? Or did they just splice the wires together?

snap on harness...and i looked at it..there isn't even a orange and white wire !!!

I bet you the installer just picked a snap on harness that looked like it fit, without actually getting the specific Nissan ones.
