I had good luck at Windshield Surgeon on 1st ST SE, at the intersection of the road that goes into the Chinook parking lot (60th maybe?). The Ctrain station is off the same road as well as Bagolac Saigon and metroland. He tries to use the same sealer strips since they usually last longer than windshields here in Alberta - so that helps in bringing the price down a bit. He also does crack repair and he'll drill any cracks that can't be filled if you don't have the cash to replace the windshield right away. That stops the cracks from spreading at least.

don't need the best price I just want to get a replacement as close to OEM as possible... i should find out who the dealer outscources their work to
