Help with kicker L5

i know i posted alota ?'s bout this kicker 12' slol L5, but i got 1 more. I finally gota amp with a subsonic filter. My JBL didnt have one and i fried the sub. Deep notes are hittin hard but theres some not so deep i wana hit more than what its doin now. Nothing on my amp is up all the way. Should i just up the gain or is it something witht he subsonic filter????

The kicker L5 is a well built sub. Turn the gain up until you hear distortion, and turn it down from there. Keep trying for the sweet spot until you like what you hear.
