Just found these info.
2.0 VVT// 2.4 VVT
Displacement (cc) '1,998' //'2,359'

I don't really know about Hyundai,,,but if you look at those numbers from 2.4 VVT engine It has better hp and tq than Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
Also I found a couple commercial from Hyundai website.
It looks not bad IMO.

GM/Opel are working on a 2.4 VVT version of the ECOTEC that out performs that by a little bit.. good to see some 4 cyl competition out there now coming from somewhere other than japan.
