Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine has raved about his first experience of a World Rally Car, after being given a passenger ride by Colin McRae.

The Scot treated Irvine to a high-speed trip in his Ford Focus WRC last week. Irvine had originally hoped to drive the car himself, but Ford chiefs were afraid he might damage the machine.

Speaking to The Sun about the experience, Irvine said: "I've flown in fighter jets with the Red Arrows and been bounced around in super-quick powerboats but nothing compares to the experience of sitting alongside Colin.

"It was truly awesome and in all honesty I have to confess the experience was better than sex. I have never felt so invigorated in my life. When we first set off I wasn't sure whether I was enjoying it or not because I kept thinking to myself 'This is madness.' I was just thankful when we stopped."

The experience quelled any thoughts Irvine might have had about switching disciplines. "After witnessing the way Colin handled the car there was no point in me having a go because I would have been so far off the pace," he said. "At times the car was completely airborne and at others we were sideways with the speedo touching 100mph.

"I knew Colin was good but he's certainly gone up in my estimation. And I certainly have no intention of trying to become a professional rally driver."

If that's the case, I'm starting a rally racing service.

I'll put those lousy escort services, massage parlours and pimps and hookers out of business in a matter of months.

Then I'm gonna open a rally racing store that will put 'Just for Lovers' and other adult-oriented stores out of business.

lol. Might be better but it's no substitute. And your four wheel drive hookers would be too expensive! What would you charge anyway? 150 for 15 mins?!

actually if I had a choice between getting busy all night or cruising in my car on a clear warm evening all night long id go with the cruise, thats totally heaven for me...in the winter when the cars parked a sunny powder day of skiing would also take precedence over sex
