So, my engine light came on in my 4Runner, and I have a friend with a computer and the Toyota chip, I got him to hook it up, and it was a misfire code. He said it means I need new spark plugs. So I went to buy new spark plugs, but I now realize, I don't know where the spark plugs are in my engine or how to change them. Does anyone have descriptive instructions or diagrams that would help me? I'm a very mechanically inclined person, I just don't know a lot about car engines.
Thanks,
-Romeo

Follow your spark plug wires - surprisingly, they lead to the spark plugs.

At the end of the yellow wires will be the spark plugs, your engine will look a little different than this one though. If you are doing it yourself i would advise you to buy a manual. It will have proper instructions on how to replace your sparkplugs.
