Naw man they are beautiful cars. I couldn't believe when I ended up behind an 850i (it was an 850 for sure, could be wrong on the i) on the way home on sarcee. You could tell the guy loved his car, flashed him the big :thumbsup: and he had the biggest smile on his face haha. Didn't even think we had any in Calgary.

rayman167's not from Calgary ;)

But we do have them here. They actually appeared in the auto trader pretty frequently a few years ago for about $30-40K.

:werd: He's beyond's handy go to Torontonian for pictures of ridiculously good looking cars. I was refering to the one I saw tonight, I always thought they ran for more then that though.

You probably saw an 840Ci or 850Ci for sale.

The 850CSi is very rare. Only 250 were produced for North America, and 1285 for the rest of the world.

Although not badged as such, the 850CSi was developed by BMW Motorsport (later renamed BMW M) and is therefore a true M car.

Ah, you're right. I misread that. I was curious as to what they go for now, and checking the Autotrader site, there's two in Alberta listed for $26,500 (850I) and $25,500 (840CI).

Hrmmmm, that doesn't seem to bad. Did that car only come in the v-12 engine size?

Nope, in 1994 they added the 840Ci to lineup which features the familiar 4.0L V8.

840ci = 282 hp 295 ft/lbs
850i/ci = 296 hp 332 ft/lbs
850csi = 372 hp 402 ft/lbs

all these cars are more than 400 pounds tho, so as aforemnetioned, not as fast as u think...

still very nice:drool:

These cars look very sharp, especially with the windows rolled down.
