You can grab a crx for that much. If you want something a lil newer then you might be able to get a 92, or 93 civic DX. I saw some on canadtrader. There are a couple si's but they have higher clicks.

you could get an old Nissan 240sx for that price. pretty fast and sporty. its a 2.4L 4cyl i think.
92 and up to 94? are more $$$, but the older ones look pretty much the same.
92

yea , as ///M3 sed , get an S13...wicked car for that amount of money, ur best option. although the 89-91 and 92-94 dont have too many differences in appeanance the motor is different,
89-91 had ka24e wich means 120 hp (???ft/lbs)
92-94 had ka24de wich means 155hp (140ft/lbs)

supra would also be a good choice, but for your price range, im not sure the motor aswell as the body will be in the best condition.

Ya, keep the Cressida. If you already have one and if the body is good then I think you'd be alot happier just modifying it.
7M-GTE is over 200hp, with alot more potential (turn up the boost).

Yup, I'd say keep the Cressida as well..it's basically a 4 door Supra. Do a manual conversion and check if you already have an LSD :D (If you do, it's probably still in pretty good shape, since it's been babied by the auto :D)

stay AWAY from DSM's...they are nice cars...but can be and prolly will turn into a money pit...
Keep the Cressida like everyone else has mentioned...
7M-GTE, 5 SPD, FMIC...and you have the ultimate drift car...PLUS...can still drive your mother, great-grandfather and wife in :bigpimp: style and comfort...

When my father owned his Cressida, mind you this was a few years ago, A1 Parts for Less always had stuff he was looking for...
Some advice I can offer you for that particular car...if you find a good Cressida for sale cheap...pick it up...as you can use it as a donor car for certain body, chassis parts...as well as interior...as I know of lots of Cressidas...whose interiors have gone the way of the "hell-hole"...so you might also wanna consider doing that...

i would look into people that deal with used jdm parts, such as one of the sponsers on this site, http://www.jdmsource.ca and see if they have anything for your car.
used parts = cheaper ;)
