Hey,

The car is a 1991 Toyota Celica GT. It has a manual transmission and is a beautiful glossy black.
This car is in immaculate condition and I have the pictures to prove it. This car has been babied since the day I bought it, and to my knowledge I'm the 3rd owner. This car has never been in an accident. It has fairly low mileage running with 195,000 KMs. This car has OVER $7,500 invested into it. I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and when the car was purchased I replaced all faulty parts and got everything into tip top shape. The large pieces that were replaced were the tranny, radiator, alternator, brake pads, axle boots, battery, clutch, windshield, driver side window and a few more I'm forgetting for sure. This car has been maintained on a regular basis and the oil has been changed every 5000 KMs at the very minimum. The exterior is in great condition. It only holds the minor scratches and dings you'd expect on a 13 year old car. There is a minor dent on the passenger door, however if you were to come look at the car you wouldn't find it unless you were looking for it. The car has no visible rust. The interior is in mint condition. The car also includes a viper alarm with keyless entry. Anyways this car comes with a good amount of aftermarket accesories as well. This gorgeous black celica comes with 17x7 Sport Max Racing 941 wheels wrapped in 205/40/17 Yokohama Parada rubber. The car comes with a system, discluding the Sub. It has a Kenwood Headunit with hydraulic flip around, and 2 rockford speakers in the back. All the wiring for the sub/amp is there however I sold my sub to purchase these rims. The car also includes a ractive muffler, 5% tint all around, clear corner and bumper lights, momo shift knob, qbx racing pedals, gauge overlay, and many other interior dress up items. This car has a 3 piece spoiler currently not installed that would be yours if you wanted it. It has the smaller lip on it right now. There are many accessories I'm not including because they are minimal and are just for looks. Again, I state that this car has been babied and has been driven at low rpm's constantly. This car has hardly been fooled around with and driven with care. If you have any other questions or want more pictures PM me for more info.

$6,500 TAKES IT without wheels! $7400 with!
Will also trade for a 3rd Generation Acura Integra

Now on to the pictures:
(Note: Calipers are now silver instead of yellow and if you need interior or engine pictures post here and PM me, I'll go snap some)

David's correct, both the GT and and the GTS run the 5SFE engine. The ST runs a slower engine while the All-Trac runs the 3SGTE. I'd have one of those if they weren't so rare. The difference between the GT and GTS is minimal. Same power, different tail lights, and front lip. I PMed you with my phone number if you really want to talk. I will also meet you half way if driving is a problem for you. Definately hit me back with an offer and I'll talk to you soon.

I'll go take some pictures right now, and the only rust I've spotted was when the car was up on the hoist. I saw minimal rust on the under-carriage. Other than that she's quite clean. I just have a question though, you've been in about 4 different threads saying you want to see the cars. Are you actually serious about this car? I've had many inquiries and I'd like to sell it asap.

I'll have the pictures up right away.

Also this Saturday would most likely work. I'll have to get someone to take my work shift, but other than that I'd be all go for meeting you somewhere.

10-01-2004, 01:15 PM
what will the rims fit on??

Frosty66
10-01-2004, 01:57 PM
It's a universal 5 bolt pattern, I believe it fits 5x100, and 5x114.3..Cant remember exact specs on that last one. Either way, it fits quite a few cars. You interested D?

little_d_mr2
10-01-2004, 02:55 PM
ya man, would they fit on a 97 lude sh with 5 bolts??

Frosty66
10-01-2004, 04:42 PM
Yup yup, just looked it up, they will fit. They are the 5X114.3 size. So if you're interested offer me a price..Here are the new prices of everything:
Set(4) of Sport Max 941 Rims - $950 NEW
2 Yokohama Parada Tires - $420 NEW
2 Dunlop Sport Z Tires - $300 NEW

I'm not sure if you want everything or just the rims.

Everything I just listed is less than 3 months old.

Make me an offer, an offer you consider fair, and we'll go from there.

Frosty66
10-01-2004, 04:44 PM

are you selling the rims seperately

Frosty66
10-17-2004, 10:57 PM
Well, if I do sell the rims seperately before the car sells then yes. Then the price will just be lowered by how much the rims sell for..or something along those lines. Either way, it all depends on what comes first. If someone wanted this car with the rims they could have it, but if the rims sell, then well, they're shit outta luck :P

it is true.

mazda_maniac
10-26-2004, 12:07 AM
Actually to be truthful the difference in the gts and the gt aren't much. The gt is actually faster due to a skinnier wheelbase. The Gts is much wider=better handling but more weight=slower. The stock stereo in the gts is much different, a 10 speaker system, two eight inch subs in the doors , and then of course 8 other speakers. The seats and interior are a bit diff but thats it it's more of a luxury model than a sportier model..........good luck selling this GT!

ramminghard
10-26-2004, 12:34 AM
plus a GT-S will hold its value more. i watched these cars sell for a long time and Gt isn't worth shit compared to a GT-S. The GT-S is a much nicer looking car than the GT. I know a guy that just sold a 92 GT ins about the same condition for $5900. This was after advertising his car for lie 4 months and having no interest. Even at $7300 i personally think your way out to lunch. If you want to sell it try low $6's. Remember that your car is nothing special, 14 years old and has 191,000 km on it. And money invested in maintenance doesn't add to the resale.

Good luck with the sale!

Gt-s also has
-4 wheel disc( not sure if Gt has disc/drum or not)
-different guage cluster(volt meter)
-wide body, which means different front bumper, wider front fenders, wider rear fenders
-different taillights(Gt-S much nicer)
-system 10(very nice factory system)
-upgraded front buckeds with power side bolster and lumbar support
-dual tip exhaust(looks much nicer)
-different climate control(looks much cleaner)
-3 spoke steering wheel(looks cleaner and more sporty)
-Handles better

Your right, the same motor. the GT and GT-s are both slow.( i know i owned a GT-S for a year)
The cosmetic differences are not minimal at all. There is a huge difference in the appearance of the two cars. The GT-s is much wider and much more rounded. very different looking cars.

I was driving a 1990 Celica GT-S for the past year. I recently sold it in August and bought my jimmy. I had bought it a year earlier and was watching the prices these cars were being bought and sold for throughout that year plus about 4 months before that. Of course it depreciates, what i was trying to say is that a GT is not worth as much as a GT-S.

How about this, you're an idiot, and you're whoring up my thread. The price difference between a GTS and a GT is minimal. How can you say this car is nothing special. It has a $1000 JDM Tranny in it, a new TRD Clutch, and everything else listed. I'm sorry your friend wasn't able to get money for his junk heap, but I've already gotten offers around here for a lot more than $6000.

So 7 words, Get the fuck out of my thread.

Stop blasting this guy's car man. I've known Frost for a while now and I know that he keeps his car hella clean, probably one of the cleanest in town. He has had multiple offers on this car and YES they were above $6000. Frost here drives a Celica GT, I own a Celica GT-S. I know for a fact that the only difference between my GT-S and his GT is only the god damn "S". He know how to treat a car with royalty. Anyone who owns this car would be more than happy, it has been babied since ownership. Stop picking at his car, in truth, your just jelous that he probably will be getting more for his celica, than you did for yours.

You my friend, are an uneducated fool. You have NO idea what shape my car is in, and you probably didn't even bother to read about it. Go on canadatrader, there are a good 3 or 4 being sold for 7000-8000..STOCK. So how about you quit flapping those big lips of yours and stay the fuck out of my thread.
