Hey guys,

In another thread we were discussing a "group buy" for winter tires -- take the poll, and let us know if you are interested.

Please only reply if you are interested in a group buy. I guess once we gauge interest we can decide on a brand/model of tire.

Reply with your vehicle brand & model, and tire size:

width in millimetres/sidewall height/tire & rim diameter

ie. My winter setup would be 205/55-16

I'd be looking for 205/55/16 as well.
I'm interested to see where this goes now.

A group buy is a waste of time. Do you know how little tires are marked up these days? Anand at MyTires barely makes a profit, he has the lowest prices I have seen in town. I used to sell tires and I will tell you right now that unless you know someone that works for one of the Distributors you won't be saving yourself very much money. Stop being so cheap and give someone like Anand at MyTire a call and order yourself some tires. He barely sells them above cost.

If you can't afford tires you shouldn't be owning a vehicle. Oooh, lets save $40 ...so sad.

Are you finished your valiant crusade for the starving vendors?

Think about it, this could be a great volume sale for any given vendor. And hell yea, if I can save $40.00 I will -- does that make me an idiot?

Now if you are finished whoring up this thread we can get back to business.

Groub buy threads must be approved by us at Beyond.ca.

like it or not, everything 89coupe said is the truth, and the vendor he mentioned has the best prices in town.

Thanks.
