I always thought that a WRX should be able to stomp a ITR. In terms of hp and torque and with AWD, the WRX has the edge. But I guess the 2600 lb weight and the 8000rpm redline of the ITR really helps. That would be an interesting race to see I guess.

stock vs. stock, an ITR should be able to take a WRX in the top end, a lude might even be able to take it in the top end, but on the street from light to light, WRX will take it.

I was pretty sure a WRX is faster than a Type R. fastest WRX 0-60 time I've seen is 5.4 secs by Car and Driver and a handful of 5.6's. I don't think the Type R is even in the 5's. If you're talking 100+ km/h, then I'm not too sure, but I think I'd still go for the WRX with 30 more horsepower(even though it's heavier and the drivetrain sucks power out).

its inevitable the type r will win...on the quarter mile near the end the type r will start to really pull on the wrx....and after the quarter mile the type r will forsure beat the wrx....
